Gerald Benton fan art by Samax Amen

To warm up for a day of comicking on Monday, I drew Gerald Benton, star of indie cartoonist Anthony Harris's debut comic 35.

I got my hands on a copy of 35 earlier this year, and I was really impressed with it.  I recommend picking it up if you like indie comics and the visual storytelling aspect of sequential art.

35 is a complete story, but Harris draws this character a lot, so I for one hope that he intends to serve up more ultraviolent anthro duck parables.  That's all I'll say about 35 for now, but you should expect a more in-depth review in the issue of GhettoManga Quarterly set to drop on Black Friday.

Anyways, I will probably color this later, and if I do I'll be sure to post it so you can see it.  If you are interested in having me do a digital drawing of your original character, CLICK HERE to check out offers for digital character art by GhettoManga Studios.

Have great week!

Samax Amen is a professional Content Developer, Illustrator and Cartoonist. He is the artist of many great comics you never heard of like Herman Heed, Champion of Children, The Brother and The World As You Know It. He even writes and draws his own comics, like Dare: The Adventures of Darius Davidson, Spontaneous, and Manchild when he gets around to it. Because making comics is hard and stuff, he started GhettoManga as a blog in 2006 and as a print magazine in 2008.
